πŸ’–πŸ AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT πŸ πŸ’– πŸ’™πŸΆ OTTO πŸΆπŸ’™ πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Stevenage, SG2 🌟 RBU provided by Paw Help UK. 🐢 OTTO is a sweet around 7 months old, puppy boy. Expected to be small medium size, currently just 37cm height, 8 kg. Expected adult size 47 cm height, 14kg. Castrated. 🐢 OTTO is currently at Foster family with other dogs and kids. That's what family say about him: "Otto loves to be in the garden playing fetch, he likes to play with chew toys. He struggles trusting people especially men and have found it difficult to put a lead on him. He would suit a family with other dogs and a busy household, likes to be sociable and inquisitive. Positive- He has shown no food aggression whatsoever. I’ve been able to touch his bowl, hand feed him, and he has also listened when corrected about trying to eat our other dogs food. They all ate in the same room ok. A few days on, his playfulness has showed even more. He has been a superstar with myself and 13 year old. It took 3 days for him to allow our 16 year old to touch him but still remains cautious. He listens when told no when we are eating. He has popped up at the table a couple of times but then takes himself to go and lay down when told. He took a few goes, and a few treats, to get a lead on him. But he then walked ok by my side up and down the garden and around house to begin with. He has slept through the night in kitchen with our two dogs. Only had one accident in house, (torrential rain outside and he wouldn’t go toilet) Currently being crate trained. He goes in ok. Accepts treats nicely and stays calm for half an hour so far. He is a little bossy with toys, our two dogs are quite submissive and walk away, but I have had to correct him a couple of times when he has lip curled at our female dog for having a toy. This has gotten better day by day and a simple β€˜ahh ahhh’ has worked. He has shown some possession and dominance over the sofa if we are all on it and one of our dogs has gone to jump up. This is being worked on and he is learning (he gets put on the floor until he behaves) same for our dogs. Suitable family- He is very bouncy and slappy and excitable so needs older, dog savvy children, also because he is snappy when unsure. We have been correcting this and still working on him. Fine with dogs, tests a few boundaries and still learning. Has gotten more and more playful with our two as days go on. Can be boisterous puppy play. 🐢 OTTO is still young but has calm temperament. He is very friendly but can be not very confident around new people. He really likes other dogs and cats. 🐢 OTTO is a pup. And family need to be ready to train and support him. He is not pushy and will need his confidence boosting. That's why we believe a home with a friendly resident dog would help a lot. 🐢 OTTO will need continue toilet training, he use puppy pad at home and will need to continue lead training. He is young and will need time and patience to train, but he has so much love to give back πŸ’– 🐢 OTTO has no known health issues; castrated. Full vaccination pack, provided worms treatment, microchipped.
